Southwest Florida is known for many activities from golf to the beaches to Naples even becoming the home of championship Pickleball. However, one of the best and least-remembered is … bird watching! Obviously, the region has wonderful wildlife that’s being intruded on daily by development and birds are just part of that ecology. Here’s a driver whose custom license plate tells it all: “BIRDING.” I got this shot on April 24, 2024, as I drove home from work here in Naples.
