We visited Gainesville and the University of Florida to see Allison as well as catch a basketball game. Here’s a shot from the opening of the evening at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center. Although underdogs, my Gators prevailed over the ranked Auburn Tigers. The game was Feb. 24, 2018. It was the first Gators (or any other college) basketball game I attended since 1980 -- my senior year in college.
