It was time for the University of Florida Fightin’ Gator Marching Band (the “Pride of the Sunshine”) as the stands filled before kickoff at The Swamp on Sept. 10, 2016. I was at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium at Florida Field on campus in Gainesville and saw UF beat the University of Kentucky in football 45-7 for its 30th consecutive victory over the Wildcats.
