Our most discriminating member of the family has chosen that 85 degrees is the lowest temperature that our pool’s water should be at the time of swimming. I disagree, but 85 degrees is the standard for most of our house. The pool, which is heated but we don’t use the heater at all except for the spa, finally reached 85 degrees a couple of days ago. You can see from today’s readout on my phone that it’s still at 85 in the middle of the afternoon. I got this shot off my iPhone here in Naples, Fla., as I went to take a dip on April 26, 2023.
