Watch it! A movie today? ‘The Flamingo Kid’ … if you enjoy ‘endearing’

Watch It! Brighten up your day and watch “The Flamingo Kid.” Here’s a really nice, sweet film that shows the coming-of-age of a teenager that offers endearing work from the headliner; solid acting from the supporting cast; and a wonderfully told story that will leave you with a smile. “The Flamingo Kid” just had its 36th anniversary this past December 2020 and it is a nice spring-summer flick over a bright movie released in the dregs of winter. “The Flamingo Kid” is the story of a young man beginning to rebel, but learning life’s lessons, too. Matt Dillon is frank, open and endearing as the main character and you’ll see everything coming a mile away, but you won’t mind. Check out “The Flamingo Kid” and … Watch It!
