Today, Jan. 2, 2023, I’m showing you both an example of “The License Plate Game” and my “On the Road (Again)” series in one photo. I got this shot on Dec. 30, 2023, here in Naples, Fla., as I was stopped at a red light while running a weekend errand. This vehicle’s owner from Illinois must be one of our “seasonal friends” with the personalized tag. Of course, Illinois is the “Land of Lincoln” and also called the “Prairie State.” It also has a lot of folks who live parttime in Southwest Florida or have retired to the region.
