Try this flick … ‘Goldfinger’ is the gold standard for 007 (but I like ‘Thunderball’ better)

Try this flick …Goldfinger.” Yesterday, I extoled the virtues of the 007 thriller “Thunderball.” Today, I’m boosting the previous “James Bond” effort: “Goldfinger.” Although I like “Thunderball” a little more, there’s parts of “Goldfinger” that are better. In “Goldfinger,” Sean Connery battles a master criminal who’s going to use a nuke to make himself even richer. “Goldfinger” has all the best 007 things: The international intrigue; a great story; solid acting; and being a real motion picture and not just some CGI special where scenes are just nasty segues to the next special effect. So, go watch “Goldfinger!”

So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog. Below is the link back to my review.
