Halloween 2019: ‘Shaun of the Dead’ one of the best zombie flicks

My movie suggestion today is … to watch “Shaun of the Dead.” Here’s the film that in 2004 returned the zombie flick to prominence. Of course, “Zombieland” and “The Walking Dead” were years away, but “Shaun of the Dead” resurrected the genre (no pun intended). The best thing is that “Shaun of the Dead” has a comedic aspect performed perfectly by guiding-hand Simon Pegg and his buddy both in real life and on-screen, Nick Frost. These guys try to kill a zombie with LPs, but only after sorting them! “Shaun of the Dead” is clever, interesting and, most of all, fun for a gory, R-rated zombie flick. You won’t have any trouble finding “Shaun of the Dead,” so get it!

So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog. Below is the link back to the original review.
