You simply can’t sugar-coat an error like this: A team does not “acquire” a victory. It can acquire a player; or it can acquire draft picks. But it does not “acquire” a victory — they didn’t do that through buying one at a concession stand. The only description of this “sports news” blurb on Comcast is … rank stupidity by an idiot. It’s not the first time. I previously posted when an idiot at Comcast thought a former NFL coach is a comedy team – they wrote Marvin Lewis’ name as “Martin Lewis.” Sigh.
