My movie reviews: 75 years later, ‘A Bridge Too Far’ remains a story of heroism

My movie suggestion today is … to watch “A Bridge Too Far.” The 75th anniversary of the start of the battle was on Sept. 17, 2019. “A Bridge Too Far” is one of those big-screen, big cast spectacle World War II films. It stars just about anyone who was anyone in Hollywood in the year of its release in 1977. “A Bridge Too Far” is the story taken from the outstanding non-fiction account of the battle by Cornelius Ryan and it is well-told and has good action for the pre-CGI days of folks actually having to do something in front of the camera. “A Bridge Too Far” is worth your time, anytime. So, check it out today! Click here to read a historical account about the battle …

So, I’m doing a sometimes recommendation of a movie or TV show … and they’re all movies or TV shows that I’ve reviewed on this blog. Below is the link back to the original review.
