Road project signs need to present correct information!

It must be my week for finding errors. I just posted about how the IFC network doesn’t know how to use apostrophes or quote marks (click here to see it) and, now I find that the road department here in Collier County – or it might be a project by the City of Naples – doesn’t even know the correct designation for its signature highway. One sign on Goodlette-Frank Road that southbound drivers can see notes access via “SR 41.” No! Wrong! It is U.S. 41. It is also State Road 45. It is also called the Tamiami Trail and is Naples’ historic highway. But it NEVER has been “SR 41.” Ah well, at least northbound drivers get the correct designation of U.S. 41. I got this shot on June 21, 2019. NOTE: Since the posting of this blog entry, the sign has been updated!
