Here’s the most beautiful tree I’ve seen in years …

I can’t identify this tree by name, but it is absolutely the most beautiful tree I’ve seen here in Naples, Fla., in years. The sun was at the perfect angle to showcase this tree on June 10, 2019, as I drove through the Lake Park neighborhood near downtown Naples. A few minutes research turned up that it most likely could be in the tabebuia family, but it might be anything from a peltophorum pterocarpum or even a cassia fistula (although that’s one unfortunately known as the “Golden Shower” tree, but, if this is one, then aptly monikered). While the tabebuia remains my favorite tree, this new one is total winner.
