Today my movie suggestion isn’t a single film or even a franchise. It is my total praise for Robert Redford. This most iconic star has won an Oscar (but not for acting) and is a gold standard that Hollywood will absolutely never, ever reach again. My favorite Redford film is “Three Days of the Condor” (click here for my review), followed by “The Sting,” “All the President’s Men” (click here for my review), “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid,” “Sneakers” (click here for my review), “The Electric Horseman” (click here for my review) and “Spy Game.” He has many, many others (take the caper flick “The Hot Rock” – click here for my review), and a CV to long to spell out completely in this short posting. In any case, get your hands on any one of his films. You’ll enjoy it as he will be 83 on his birthday this coming Aug. 18.
So, I’m doing a daily recommendation of a movie … and they’re all movies that I’ve reviewed on this blog. Below is the link back to the original review.
