What a relief! Today, Nov. 30, is the official end to the 2018 hurricane season. While others were not so fortunate over the past six months, we here in Naples in Southwest Florida had a hurricane-free season. This morning’s early (1 a.m.) update map shows no storms in sight. The past season was unlike 2017 when Hurricane Irma came calling in September. We’re all thankful for our quiet season and hope everyone can enjoy the same in 2019. After all, there are only 152 days until the beginning of the 2019 season on June 1. (Remember: Click on the image for a bigger version – then click on that one for the full-size photo.)
