My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with “Murph the Surf.” Here’s a great, forgotten TV-like motion picture from the ’70s that you should check out. “Murph the Surf” is the story of a Miami beachboy-turned-jewel thief and who pulled off the biggest heist of his day. “Murph the Surf” isn’t great in cinematography, or its screenplay … or, well just about anything else, but it does have TV icon Robert Conrad as the headliner (but not title role). “Murph the Surf” isn’t easy to find, but you’ll actually enjoy it despite its deficiencies.
I’m posting all my film reviews in alphabetical order and I’ve updated links and more on many of the reviews. Below is the link back to the full review.
