My alphabetical posting of suggested films continues today with the crappy reboot of “Going in Style.” The original was great social commentary on getting old, but the new “Going in Style” is a fractured mess by director Zach Braff, who should have stuck to directing episodes of “Scrubs.” The remake of “Going in Style” is feel-good where it should have tackled today’s social ills for the elderly just as the original accomplished so well. Sigh. So, only watch the reboot of “Going in Style” if you don’t want to think about anything. It’s good for that.
I’m posting all my film reviews in alphabetical order and I’ve updated links and more on many of the reviews. Below is the link back to the full review.
