Click here to read my movie suggestion for today and it is … “Runaway Jury.” It is a flawed film about rigging a jury in a big anti-gun civil trial (it was anti-cigarettes in the book) and only the huge talent of Gene Hackman can save it – with the solid help of John Cusack and, of course, co-star Dustin Hoffman (and Rachel Weitz is excellent, too). “Runaway Jury” doesn’t do justice to the novel by once-excellent novelist John Grisham. Still, “Runaway Jury” is worth the price of admission for Hackman’s effort alone.
So, I’m in the middle of doing a daily recommendation of a movie … and they’re all movies that I’ve reviewed on this blog. Below is the link back to the original review.
