Tomorrow is our nation’s Independence Day, July 4. There’s nothing more iconic than the Stars and Stripes. You’ll find them everywhere at Walt Disney World, and a whole bunch are on Main Street, U.S.A. The setting sun’s rays cast a nice glow on the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor at the Magic Kingdom and you’ll find a flag at the top. However, look close. To avoid having to take down the flags each night or illuminate them, WDW has adjusted the flags so they are not “official” U.S. flags – they don’t have the proper number of stars!
