Click here to read my movie suggestion for today and it is … “Dillinger.” It’s a 1970s tale of the famous murdering bank robber. “Dillinger” stars Warren Oates and has awful cinematography and a paper-thin screenplay and sub-standard direction. However, “Dillinger” is watchable, especially it’s younger(ish) supporting cast including Richard Dreyfuss as “‘Baby Face’ Nelson” and Harry Dean Stanton as “Homer Van Meter.” So, overlook its weaknesses and enjoy “Dillinger.” Its action scenes aren’t bad and Oates breezes through it with aplomb.
So, I’m doing a daily recommendation of a movie … and they’re all movies that I’ve reviewed on this blog. Below is the link back to the original review.
