I’m posting another shot of a bloom on the most special plant in our yard – the hibiscus given to us after the death of my mother more than a decade ago. Despite many prunings and some back to next to nothing, it continues to give joy through each bloom. I took this photo May 5, 2017, at our home here in Naples, Fla., where the hibiscus has had its home since 2004. Click here to see a bloom from 2016.
