Click here to read today’s movie suggestion and it is … the war comedy-drama “Father Goose.” It stars Cary Grant and Leslie Caron and they find love amid the war-torn Pacific at the start of World War II. “Father Goose” is about a U.S. ex-pat who wants to keep his nose out of a world war, but finds it there anyway. From being alone on an island (he’s a “coastwatcher”), he finds himself taking care of a group of school girls who are supervised by the bossy, responsible Caron. Well, Grant is a hard-drinking guy and they clash (no kidding). “Father Goose” is easy to find and fun to watch.
So, I’m doing a daily recommendation of a movie … and they’re all movies that I’ve reviewed on this blog. Below is the link back to the original review.
