Check out the signal, the moon and … the UFO?

Here’s a moment where you wish you had your Nikon: A nighttime intersection near our home in Naples, Fla., on March 1, 2017. Notice a few things: 1) the white light near the traffic signal … it is a flasher that is triggered by an emergency vehicle 2) the beautiful sliver of moon just above the traffic signals 3) the tiny green light – and no, it is NOT part of the traffic signal system. Hmmm … maybe a UFO?

Here’s a moment where you wish you had your Nikon for a proper photo: A nighttime intersection near our home in Naples, Fla., on March 1, 2017. Well, maybe light refraction in my iPhone’s camera lens. (Remember: Click on the image above for a bigger version – then click on that one for the full-size photo.)
