Click here to read today’s movie suggestion and it is … “Manhunter.” Although notably from Michael Mann, who is most famous as the creative genius behind TV’s “Miami Vice,” it is more notably the screen debut of “Hannibal Lecter” (although his name is spelled “Lecktor” in the credits). “Manhunter” is from the Thomas Harris Novel “Red Dragon” and “Manhunter” was remade with the film title changed to “Red Dragon.” Whew! It’s easy to get confused. You’ll like “Manhunter,” which stars William Petersen, who would go on to greater fame on TV’s “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.”
So, I’m doing a daily recommendation of a movie … and they’re all movies that I’ve reviewed on this blog. Below is the link back to the original review.
