Click here for today’s movie suggestion … and it is an old Cary Grant flick (aren’t they all in this year of 2017?) called “Operation Petticoat.” Grant plays a gung-ho submarine skipper in World War II in the Pacific theater who is bedeviled by bad luck and being saddled by a new officer (played with verve by Tony Curtis) who is more criminal minded than military minded. In any case, “Operation Petticoat” is fun, frivolous and has some nice supporting actors (such as “Mrs. Cunningham” from TV’s “Happy Days”). So, check out “Operation Petticoat.”
So, I’m doing a daily recommendation of a movie … and they’re all movies that I’ve reviewed on this blog. Below is the link back to the original review.
