Click here to read today’s movie suggestion … and it is the least-remembered work of the Zucker-Abrahams comedy films – “Top Secret!” You’ll recognize their most famous works – “Airplane!” and the “Naked Gun” franchise – but “Top Secret!” keeps up with its more recognized cousins step-for-step and gag-for-gag. “Top Secret!” is Val Kilmer’s debut film and he does a great job. Otherwise, the cast isn’t very memorable with the exception of screen legend Omar Sharif, who plays a straight man to … well, everyone he encounters in his brief screen time. Go and get “Top Secret!” As Mr. Monk says, “You’ll thank me later.”
So, I’m doing a daily recommendation of a movie … and they’re all movies that I’ve reviewed on this blog. Below is the link back to the original review.
