Well, with decision by the Disney Co. to remove alligator and crocodile references from rides and the some characters from parades, I decided to reuse our photo of “Tick-Tock” the crocodile in “Peter Pan.” The decision comes in the wake of the death of a toddler who was killed by an alligator at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Here’s the original cutline: “With Peter Pan above, the crocodile (his name is “Tick-Tock”) awaits at the United Kingdom Pavilion during the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. Allison got this shot while she and Debbie were visiting Walt Disney World on March 16, 2015.” And, it appears the New York Daily News somehow managed to use Allison’s photo in their Disney story about the issue. Click here to read it and judge for yourself if the image is the same. Unfortunately they didn’t give her or my blog credit. Ah, what’s happened to copyright? The internet, of course.
