Today’s Disney photo: Shutters askew

If you closely in the Liberty Square area of the Magic Kingdom, you’ll notice shutters are askew. It is because during the Revolutionary War metal was in short supply and such material as hinges were taken down and melted to become ammunition. Shutters were then secured with leather. I grabbed this shot when we were at Walt Disney World in August 2014.
