Here’s a view of the lower Manhattan skyline on a cloudy afternoon as we left on a cruise to Canada in 2005. The dull gray of the clouds nicely matches the dull gray of the water. In the center of the frame is the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum at Pier 89. The museum was closed the next year for renovations to the displays, including the USS Intrepid.
